The topic of our third IMBES Ask-Me-Anything session of 2020 will be "Incorporating Principles of Mind Brain and Education in the Early Childhood Classroom". The goal of these sessions is to provide members of the IMBES community, and particularly trainees, the opportunities to ask questions of researchers and practitioners in the field to learn from their experiences and foster discussion. These video-chat meetings will take place over Zoom, and trainees will be able to submit questions to discuss ahead of time.
We are excited to have as our guest Ashley Auces. Ashley is a former graduate of the MBE Master's program at the University of Texas at Arlington. She is an early childhood practitioner with over 11 years' experience teaching prekindergarten and kindergarten students in Texas public schools. Ashley is currently working on a Certification in Early Education Leadership from Harvard University and is an administrative intern. Ashley is passionate about using MBE concepts to support literacy development in early childhood.
This session will take place at 12pm CDT on Saturday, August 22nd. Trainees are encouraged to attend and ask questions on this topic. Questions for the guests can be submitted ahead of the session at the link here. For those who can't attend, we will be recording the conversation and will share it after the event.
Any questions about the events can be directed to traineeboard@imbesociety.org.
