The IMBES Trainee Board is excited to announce our June Ask-Me-Anything guests: Dr. Liz Toomarian and Katie Morgan from Synapse School in Menlo Park, California. Dr. Toomarian is the Director of the Stanford-Synapse Brainwave Learning Center, a collaboration between researchers at Stanford University and Synapse School aimed at understanding how educational experiences can shape brain development. Katie Morgan is Synapse’s Senior Director of Teaching and Learning, where, among other things, she assesses and helps implement curriculum at Synapse. This AMA will present the chance for IMBES trainees to learn more about this innovative collaboration between researchers and educators to promote student success.
